[Renowned Research Institution Predicts NVIDIA Rubin Will Significantly Reduce Memory Allocation, Possibly Triggering Micron and SK Hynix Plunge] BlockBeats News, June 5 — Renowned research institution SemiAnalysis released an investment research report yesterday, pointing out that NVIDIA's next-generation AI server cluster Rubin NVL72 will undergo significant adjustments in memory configuration. To address supply chain constraints and ensure timely delivery of Rubin cabinets, the single-cabinet capacity will drop sharply from the originally planned 55TB to 28TB. Additionally, most Rubin systems will adopt 96GB SOCAMM modules instead of the originally planned 192GB modules. Although SemiAnalysis founder, CEO, and chief analyst Dylan Patel later stated that "this is not a disaster," and the report itself did not intend to sensationalize or scare the market, the market reacted strongly. Yesterday, Micron plunged 7.7%, and today South Korea's SK Hynix opened with a sharp drop of 8.32%.
