According to Yahoo Finance, Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) announced a phased implementation of the Virtual Asset Travel Rule. Starting from October 2026, for transfers between VASPs (Virtual Asset Service Providers) exceeding 30,000 TWD, the sender must provide additional identity information for both the sender and the recipient. For individuals, this includes date of birth and address, while for entities, an official identification number and registered address are required. Additionally, the receiving VASP must verify the consistency between the recipient's information and their client records. Cross-border VASP transfers are expected to be implemented by the end of 2027. This rule aims to comply with FATF anti-money laundering requirements and enhance the traceability of virtual asset transactions. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-65933
