Peng Jinlong, head of Taiwan's financial regulatory authority, stated that the Virtual Asset Service Providers Act was passed on June 30 this year. Taiwan's financial regulatory authority is currently drafting nine sub-legislations, including stablecoin regulations, which are expected to be implemented as early as the first quarter of next year.
