Another day of Trump and Iran throwing shade at each other. A lot of friends are speculating about where oil prices will go next. Although I’m overall bearish, I still think actions speak louder than words. In other words, if Iran and the U.S. both remain restrained and avoid further physical attacks, then peace talks are likely already underway—just that neither side wants to admit they initiated it. The key is whether Iran will make the first move in the coming days. Since August 1, Iran hasn’t taken any proactive attacks, and the U.S.’s previously announced retaliation was also called off. So, in reality, both sides are in a ceasefire state right now. This round of conflict was indeed initiated by Iran, so it’s reasonable to speculate that if Iran doesn’t act again, the U.S. is willing to maintain the ceasefire. I’m not too worried about oil prices. I talked about this earlier today. At this stage, I’m eyeing $75 per barrel first. Once it hits $75, Trump might start getting cocky. If it doesn’t, and the U.S. and Iran remain in a ceasefire, then the chances of oil dropping below $70 are still quite high. As for my own account, I successfully bought $63,000 worth of bitcoin:native dual-currency today and immediately listed it for sale at $64,000 tomorrow. Honestly, I’m a bit nervous—it might actually sell. I originally thought that if MSTR sold Bitcoin today, the market would take a dip out of caution. But instead, the market didn’t drop and even went up a bit. Now it’s already close to $64,000. If it sells, it sells. A quick profit is fine by me. I’ll just keep listing at $63,000 again. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
