[The French National Assembly Committee is Reviewing 10 Cryptocurrency Amendments, Including Stablecoin Exchange Transactions Already Approved]
According to Journal du Coin, the French National Assembly Finance Committee has proposed ten cryptocurrency-related amendments as part of the 2027 budget plan. The Finance Committee has been reviewing these amendments since October 7: three have been approved, and one has been rejected. Measures such as taxation on stablecoin exchange transactions, exit tax on crypto assets, and a 10-year carryforward of crypto asset losses have been approved by the committee. However, the proposal to extend the wealth tax to include crypto assets was rejected. Provisions regarding partial self-custody wallet declarations and platform penalties are still under review. These measures have not yet been formally enacted into law and require further deliberation.
