[Safe Investors File Complaint with Swiss Regulator, Demand Restructuring of Safe Ecosystem Foundation Board]
According to a report by The Defiant on October 6, as cited by Jinse Finance, Safe investor Greenfield Capital has filed a regulatory complaint with the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations (ESA) over governance issues. In an open letter, Greenfield founding partner Jascha Samadi stated that the company is demanding the Safe Ecosystem Foundation remove Gnosis co-founder Stefan George from his board position and appoint independent directors with expertise in finance and risk control. However, these requests have been repeatedly denied over several months of communication. Samadi pointed out that George's role at Gnosis and another board member, Richard Meissner's connection to the company developing and operating Safe products, constitute a conflict of interest, leaving the board without independent voices.
