[Iranian Media: IRGC Recently Takes Action Against 7 'Violating' Oil Tankers] According to Golden Finance, on October 4, citing a report from Iran's Fars News Agency on October 3, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has taken action against at least 7 'violating' oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz over the past five days. The report, quoting multiple sources, stated that although the U.S. government has consistently claimed that 'the Strait of Hormuz remains open and under U.S. control,' the Iranian side has, in fact, taken action against more than one oil tanker per day on average.
