Spent the whole day gossiping today, and ended up making a rookie mistake like joining the Nationalist Army in '49. My dual-currency investment expired during the day, and I specifically planned to wait until the U.S. stock market opened at night to make a move. But while scrolling through content on X, I unknowingly placed my dual-currency order at 9:15 PM. At that time, Bitcoin's price was $76,900.
If I had just waited 20 more minutes, the price would have dropped to $76,200. That’s at least 1% more interest I could’ve earned. Gossiping really messes things up. Damn you, @Bqlsj2023, how are you going to compensate me? If it weren’t for you bringing out the peanuts, I’d still be working on my writing.
The market is expected to drop quite a bit. Even though I placed my order at $76,900, a 5% drop to $73,000 could still yield a 14.66% return, and at $72,000, there’s still a 6.5% return. So, my test account placed an order at $73,000. This price probably won’t get filled, but if it does, it’s no big deal.
For my personal account, I set a bottom price at $72,000. I think this is a reasonable price to expect a fill. If it gets filled at this price, then $73,000 will also get filled. Based on the average price, the probability of a rebound is pretty high. Worst case, I can play around with some short-term high-sell trades for a few days.
Since it expires tomorrow afternoon, I won’t place any more orders on Thursday. Better to play it safe.
