[Samsung Leads $231 Million Series A Funding for Dutch AI Chip Startup Euclyd]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on September 15, as reported by (TechStartups.com), Dutch AI chip startup Euclyd has completed a Series A funding round exceeding €200 million (approximately $231 million), co-led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, EQT's Scaleup Europe Fund, and Innovation Industries.
Euclyd was founded in 2024 by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha, with its headquarters in Eindhoven. The company focuses on the AI inference sector, aiming to reduce AI inference energy consumption and per-token costs by replacing GPU solutions with its self-developed chip and memory architecture.
Former ASML CEO Peter Wennink will serve as the chairman of the company's board of directors.
