The hacker exploited a coding error in a helper contract the wallet had authorized, allowing them to move 2,900 rsETH. A trading bot called “yoink” spotted the attack and paid about $47,000 to get ahead of the hacker. The bot then sent 2,882 rsETH to a separate wallet, saving most of the stolen funds.
