Those who know me well should be aware that I’m a firm believer in shorting oil. I think shorting oil when it’s high is the right move. This time, I actually started shorting from $80 and have been slowly chasing upward. But if WTI breaks $105, I’ll increase my short positions even more.
Looking at the current trajectory of the U.S.-Iran conflict, there’s still a chance for oil prices to continue rising. That’s why I’ve been reminding my fellow short-sellers to pay attention to margin requirements. At this stage, you should at least raise your margin to $120, and it’s not out of the question for it to push further to $130.
My latest orders are set at $105 for CLUSDT and $110 for BZUSDT. If prices keep climbing, I’ll add to my positions every $5.
