[Pons Founder Clarifies: Tax Rate Cannot Be Changed After Token Issuance, High Tax Rate Due to Terminal Routing Error] Pons founder Ozzy clarified in a post on the X platform that the tax rate for tokens issued within the Pons platform cannot be changed after issuance. He pointed out that some terminals, due to routing configuration issues, directed transactions to high-tax-rate pools. However, the pool initialized by Pons on Uniswap V4 not only has liquidity but is also a 0% tax rate pool, charging only a 1% Hook fee. When malicious actors attempt to 'vamp' attack the pool, terminals may display an increased tax rate, but the actual tax rate of the Pons pool remains unchanged. Ozzy has requested the relevant terminals to correct this issue and reminded users that if they see fees exceeding 1%, it means they have been routed to the wrong pool.
