According to the official announcement from SBI Holdings, SBI Shinsei Trust Bank has started investing part of the reserve assets of the Japanese yen stablecoin JPYSC into Japanese short-term government bonds, with an initial amount of 1 billion yen. As of September 7, the issuance balance of JPYSC is approximately 20.1 billion yen, with an additional 6.9 billion yen involved in JPYSC Lending through SBI VC Trade, bringing the total scale to around 27 billion yen.
