[Samsung and SK Hynix's Memory Chip Inventory Drops Below 10 Days of Supply]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that 'White-Haired Stock God' Serenity cited the latest report on memory from KB Securities on platform X. In the report, KB Securities Research Director Kim Dong-won stated: 'As of the third quarter, the memory chip inventory of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix has dropped below 10 days of supply. This goes beyond a simple demand recovery — the supply capacity is highly likely to become absolutely insufficient. Therefore, the possibility of memory products being completely sold out next year could become a reality.'
Serenity commented on this, asking: Is there any other industry where all investors cheer for 'shortages' and 'price hikes'? In short: Against the backdrop of strong demand driving shortages and an increased share of infrastructure spending, the outlook for the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) and related stocks like Micron and SanDisk could be quite optimistic through 2027.
