[Bitcoin-to-Gold Ratio Hits Highest Since January, 1 Bitcoin Now Exceeds 18 Ounces of Gold]
According to CoinDesk, the Bitcoin-to-gold ratio has risen to 18.17, the highest since January, meaning one Bitcoin can now purchase slightly more than 18 ounces of gold. Both Bitcoin and gold are rising in tandem, with analysts attributing this to market concerns over governments diluting debt through currency devaluation. Except for Switzerland, the debt-to-GDP ratio of all major developed economies exceeds 100%, with the U.S. leading in terms of the primary deficit excluding interest expenses. U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent stated at the G20 Finance Ministers' Meeting that 'the world is drowning in debt, and the only way out is through growth.' SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci commented, 'The twenty finance ministers have unintentionally delivered the best Bitcoin advertisement of the year.'
