Last night's JINQIAN/FAMI was absolutely wild… Checked this morning, and JINQIAN is already down 95.8%. There's a pretty obvious loophole here: this FAMI isn't an official stock token issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, but rather one issued by an unknown third party. This makes the whole narrative of 'on-chain Meme short squeeze of U.S. stocks' lack the most basic foundation: The on-chain FAMI token and the Nasdaq FAMI stock don't have the same kind of pegged relationship as Robinhood's official Stock Tokens. It's just being driven by short-term attention. There are roughly 10,000 U.S. listed companies + ETFs, but Robinhood's official on-chain offerings only cover about 200 of them—roughly 2%—mainly focusing on high market cap, high visibility, and high liquidity assets. Robinhood's official documentation actually emphasizes this: Tokens with the same name and stock ticker but different contract addresses are *not* Robinhood Stock Tokens. To determine whether a so-called 'stock token' is officially deployed by Robinhood, it's actually pretty simple. Just check the official Registry for the contract address.
