One of Abstract's core developers, @0xbeans, has officially announced their departure. For those familiar with Abstract, you probably know that Beans, along with Cygaar and StinkyPablo, was part of the early team that brought Abstract to life. Now, Beans is embarking on a new on-chain experiment, the much-hyped @standard_rsv. It calls itself a "sovereign on-chain central bank," using around 4,000 lines of immutable code to automatically issue currency, adjust supply, and build hard reserves—no committees, no DAO voting. It looks super intriguing, and many folks in the Chinese community are grinding hard to get on the whitelist. As for the type of users Standard is looking for, Beans bluntly stated they want true on-chain participants, not people who would bail for $50 and a hot dog. Basically, they’re looking for diamond hands in the space.
