Recently, x402 transaction volume hit a new high, surpassing 2 million transactions in a single day. Most of the transactions occurred on the Solana network, primarily processed by PayAI and Figment. The majority of these transactions are categorized under Infra & Utilities. The driving force behind this is Server-side Blockrun, which can be understood as an OpenRouter for Agents—pay-per-use, one entry point, connecting to dozens of AI large models. Although x402 transaction volume is quite low, with daily transaction volume only amounting to a few thousand dollars and an average transaction cost of less than $0.015, it’s still niche from a payment network perspective. However, this is relatively less significant for Facilitators. Take PayAI as an example: BlockRun is a real paid seller. Currently, PayAI charges $0.001 per transaction to Servers. With the current daily processing of over a million transactions, the estimated revenue is $1,000+/day.
