Sharing my observations: actually, even small funds need to have the ability to 'preserve wealth' from the very beginning. I've observed a lot of small retail investors' live trading (funds ranging from 1,000-10,000u). They play with memes and contracts, and they actually have many opportunities for several-fold returns. With just a bit more ability to 'manage drawdowns,' their funds could easily scale up to higher levels. But the result is often a complete lack of loss management, with funds fluctuating wildly within a fixed range over the long term, never reaching new heights, and eventually hitting zero. The ability to 'preserve wealth' is incredibly important right from the start, regardless of whether it's big funds or small funds.
