On August 11, the total holdings of the U.S. bitcoin:native spot ETF slightly rebounded to 1,222,932.68 BTC, with a net increase of 46.14 BTC for the day, ending the net outflow of 2,507.85 BTC on August 10. However, the fund movement that day was minimal, essentially flat, and not enough to confirm that funds have returned to a clear net inflow trend. Looking at a longer timeframe of the past 7 trading days, BTC ETFs still saw a cumulative net increase of 10,220.83 BTC. The continuous net inflows over five consecutive trading days last week provided a significant buffer, so it’s too early to conclude that this round of ETF fund inflows has ended just because the first two trading days of this week were weaker. At the moment, BTC seems to be going through a brief cooling-off period after last week’s large-scale net inflows. While this week’s fund movement is noticeably weaker than last week’s, the past 7 trading days and the cumulative data for August still show net inflows. If we see consecutive buy orders exceeding 1,000 BTC in the coming days, the short-term inflow trend could continue. However, if the trend hovers near zero or shifts to sustained net outflows, it would signal that last week’s strong fund momentum is truly fading. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
