Bitdeer and Volta Sign 16-Year Data Center Hosting Agreement, Total Contract Value Approximately $8 Billion

According to Stocktitan, Bitdeer announced that its subsidiary, Tydal Data Center AS, has signed a 16-year data center hosting and service agreement with Volta Tydal AS. The agreement will provide 121 MW of IT load capacity (approximately 133 MW total power) at the Tydal AI/HPC campus in Norway, fully dedicated to deploying NVIDIA GPUs and serving a leading AI laboratory. The total contract payment during the initial term of the agreement is estimated to be approximately $4.7 billion, with an 8-year renewal option that could bring the potential total contract value to approximately $8 billion. Bitdeer estimates the remaining capital expenditure for the project to be approximately $500 million, which it plans to finance through additional debt. Boosted by the agreement, Bitdeer’s stock price surged by 23%.
