Japanese financial group SBI Holdings' mining subsidiary, SBI Crypto, officially ceased its mining pool services on July 31 and shut down its Stratum servers used for miner connections. Data shows that its 7-day average hashrate dropped from 16.222 EH/s on June 30 to 5.817 EH/s on July 30, a decline of approximately 64% in just one month. On the same day, Foundry USA, AntPool, and F2Pool collectively accounted for about 60% of recent Bitcoin block production. However, the combined share of these three pools had already exceeded 60% before SBI Crypto's shutdown, and current data cannot confirm the exact destination of SBI's lost hashrate. (CryptoSlate)
