Yesterday's move was basically Binance officially confirming through @fourdotmemezh and its wallet stance that the bStock meme is the recognized path for Alpha in meme coins.
This should've been done long ago.
BNB's essence lies in the trenches—it’s about on-chain issuance. Any so-called RWA (Real World Asset) that doesn’t adhere to this principle is bound to fail miserably.
The biggest use of U.S. stocks on-chain definitely isn’t the stocks themselves; the ultimate big trend for stock memes won’t happen on Robinhood—it’ll happen on BNB.
Robinhood’s main users, apart from those interested in high-volatility products like memes that only exist on-chain, don’t even have a reason to swap stablecoins, let alone play U.S. stocks on-chain. Plus, as a brokerage, RH’s crypto trading lacks competitiveness. Its Q2 combined trading volume was only $40 billion, which doesn’t create any token listing effect.
But it’s different for Binance. You might’ve questioned whether @heyibinance still supports memes, but Binance has never held back when it comes to competing for asset pricing power. The first step is always using contracts and memes to demystify U.S. stocks for users and blur boundaries, then using bStock to create trading pairs and establish issuance logic.
The main feature of Four Meme is news-driven trading, where hot topics quickly form order books after breaking out. In other meme coins, this might feel “too forced,” but in stock memes, the strategy of focusing on financial news fits perfectly.
Too many people-focused memes can lead to fatigue; event-focused memes can face cultural barriers. But financial news-driven memes? That’s the greatest common denominator.
Make BNB news-driven trading great again!
