[Samsung Electronics Expands NAND Supply Cooperation with NVIDIA, Accelerates V9 and V10 Flash Memory Deployment]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Samsung Electronics is expanding its cooperation with NVIDIA in the NAND flash memory sector, further deepening their storage chip supply relationship on top of their existing collaborations in DRAM, high-bandwidth memory (HBM), and semiconductor foundry services. According to reports, Samsung has begun mass production of its 10th-generation V-NAND (V10) and is supplying it to NVIDIA, while also increasing the production capacity of its 9th-generation V-NAND (V9) and advancing the development of its 11th-generation 500-layer V-NAND (V11). It is reported that Samsung currently has a monthly production capacity of over 100,000 wafers of V-NAND, with approximately 60% of the capacity allocated to V9 products. (Cailian Press)
