[Oracle Faces Downgrade by S&P, Credit Rating Just One Step Away from 'Junk']
Golden Finance reported that on Thursday, July 10, Eastern Time, S&P Global downgraded Oracle's long-term issuer credit rating from 'BBB' to 'BBB-', just one notch above speculative (junk) grade. S&P pointed out that Oracle's large-scale transition to AI infrastructure has led to increased structural risks, with its capital expenditures for fiscal year 2027 expected to reach $90 billion to $95 billion, and a free operating cash flow deficit potentially reaching $42 billion.
