OpenAI Lowers Prices for Certain GPT-5.6 Models

According to Jiemian News, OpenAI has announced adjustments to the pricing and performance of the GPT-5.6 series models to enhance the cost-effectiveness of AI applications for enterprise users. Among them, the price of the GPT-5.6 Luna model has been reduced by 80%, and the price of the GPT-5.6 Terra model has been reduced by 20%. This price reduction will also be reflected in the calculation of subscription fees for using Codex and ChatGPT Work. OpenAI stated that GPT-5.6 Luna is the fastest and most cost-efficient model in the series, suitable for large-scale, high-frequency task processing, and capable of supporting tool invocation and multi-step workflows. GPT-5.6 Terra, on the other hand, is positioned as a balanced model for everyday tasks.
