[The Cyberspace Administration of China Deepens the First Phase of the 'Clear and Bright: Rectification of AI Application Irregularities' Special Campaign]
BlockBeats News, July 6: Since the launch of the 'Clear and Bright: Rectification of AI Application Irregularities' special campaign in April 2026, the Cyberspace Administration of China has focused on addressing issues such as failure to comply with large model registration requirements, insufficient security and review/filtering capabilities of AI platforms, AI data poisoning, and inadequate implementation of synthetic content labeling in AI applications. Local cyberspace departments have been tasked with advancing the key rectification tasks of the first phase and have set up a 'Special Reporting Section for AI Application Irregularities' to specifically handle public reports.
Through joint efforts, the first phase has resulted in the handling of over 14,000 non-compliant websites, applications, and AI products, the removal of more than 6 million pieces of illegal and non-compliant information, the resolution of over 26,000 accounts, the takedown of over 1,300 non-compliant AI products, and the removal of 9 non-compliant open-source datasets. Significant progress has been made in all aspects of the campaign. [Original Link]
