Over the past two months, we've seen dozens of crypto companies go bankrupt/shut down.
To name a few: Dango, BitMEX, Zapper (Mark Cuban-backed btw), Rodeo, Entropy (and more).
This is exactly what we see every cycle, and tbh, it's probably exactly what we need to properly bottom before sending higher.
(In 2022, it was FTX, Celsius, Voyager, Three Arrows Capital).
Just like the stock market flushes out overhyped and overvalued stocks, so does the crypto market.
I actually don't think this is bearish; in fact, it's probably a good sign of our industry maturing, and this is just generally a normal symptom of the bottoming process.
(btw, this isn't a dig at BitMEX at all. I genuinely wish their shutdown to be as smooth as possible - just highlighting this isn't anything to be worried about and crypto isn't "dying"; this is just a normal part of the market bottoming process)
