SecondFi Announces Progress on Cardano Wallet Attack, Identifies Two Attackers

Cardano wallet service provider SecondFi has released the latest update on the theft incident, stating that it has identified the addresses related to two attackers. According to SecondFi, between June 21 and June 23, a complex automated attack was carried out in three waves, stealing funds from hundreds of Cardano wallets: Attacker A emptied 171 wallets in two batch operations, while Attacker B emptied 203 wallets in the third wave of attacks. SecondFi has disclosed multiple Collection addresses and the stake keys of the two attackers, noting that approximately 4.02 million ADA remains in a designated address belonging to Attacker B. This address has been flagged and is currently under on-chain monitoring.
