The two sides discussed matters related to the strait as outlined in the memorandum of understanding. They agreed to continue dialogue on this issue through a joint working group between their foreign ministries, aiming to reach an agreement that aligns with international standards regarding future navigation management, related services, and corresponding fees for the Hormuz Strait.
In this context, both parties also agreed to engage in discussions with other coastal nations in the region and relevant stakeholders.
