[Singapore Exchange and MSCI Reach New Agreement on Derivatives] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 23, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and MSCI reached a new agreement to further deepen their cooperative relationship. This move also signifies SGX's strong push to expand its derivatives offerings. According to SGX executives, the exchange will collaborate with MSCI to introduce up to 100 new futures and options contracts based on its indices. These contracts will cover developed and emerging markets, as well as major industry indices including utilities, industrials, energy, and financials. The CEO of SGX stated: "Market participants are increasingly looking beyond single regions. This is not just about countries or regions, but also about industries. This reflects the feedback we've received from our clients, and as a result, we are expanding contracts across Asian countries, products, and asset classes."
