[Nvidia Acquires Predictive AI Startup Kumo AI for Over $400 Million]
According to DeepTech TechFlow on June 4, as reported by TechStartups, Nvidia has acquired Kumo AI, a startup focused on enterprise predictive AI software, in a deal exceeding $400 million. Kumo AI primarily provides predictive capabilities for structured enterprise data, applicable in scenarios such as customer churn prediction, fraud detection, demand forecasting, lead scoring, credit risk analysis, and product recommendations. Reports indicate that Kumo AI's founding team includes former Airbnb and Pinterest CTO Vanja Josifovski, former LinkedIn AI head Hema Raghavan, and Stanford professor Jure Leskovec. The LinkedIn profiles of all three now show that they joined Nvidia last month. This acquisition further expands Nvidia's AI software portfolio.
