[SpaceX Officially Files for IPO, Issuance Size and Valuation Undisclosed]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Elon Musk's SpaceX has announced plans for the largest IPO in history, providing investors with a comprehensive disclosure of the financial details of the company, which spans rocket launches, satellite broadband, and artificial intelligence businesses. According to the prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday, the company reported $4.7 billion in sales and $1.9 billion in operating losses for the first three months of this year. Musk will hold 85.1% of the voting rights post-IPO. The company also plans to engage in asteroid mining in near-Earth space. The document further reveals that Anthropic will pay SpaceX $1.25 billion per month until May 2029. While the issuance size and proposed valuation have not been disclosed, media reports previously indicated that SpaceX had discussed raising approximately $75 billion at a valuation of $1.75 trillion.
