The total market value of A-shares has exceeded 120 trillion yuan, with the electronic sector contributing 40% of the annual increase Golden Finance Report, May 7th - As of today's (May 7th) close, the total market value of A-shares (calculated based on A-share share capital and A-share stock price) has exceeded the 120 trillion mark, closing at 120.04 trillion yuan, an increase of about 11.29 trillion yuan from the beginning of the year. By industry, the electronics sector contributed the most, with a cumulative increase of 4.68 trillion yuan in A-share market value during the year, accounting for over 40%. The A-share market value of the power equipment, communication, and non-ferrous metal sectors also increased by over one trillion yuan, while the banking and non bank financial sectors performed poorly, with both experiencing a decrease in market value of over 600 billion yuan.
