[Andre Cronje: Withdrawn ETH from Aave to Ensure Liquidity]
Flying Tulip founder Andre Cronje stated that the investigation into the L0/rsETH incident is still ongoing. Preliminary reports indicate that the issue may have been caused by a private key leak or configuration error, resulting in approximately $200 million worth of rsETH being stolen. Subsequently, these rsETH were deposited into Aave to borrow ETH (due to insufficient rsETH liquidity). Technically, the position is collateralized; even without collateral, Aave's tokens and its safety module serve as the first line of defense against bad debt. Aave has no means to subsidize user losses, which could potentially trigger a liquidity crunch.
