[Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister: Unable to Determine Date for Next Round of Talks with the U.S. Before Reaching Consensus]
BlockBeats News, April 18, according to Al Jazeera, when asked about the possibility of a new round of talks with the U.S., Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that negotiations cannot proceed until both sides reach an agreement on a common framework. 'We cannot determine a date for negotiations before we reach a consensus on the framework,' Khatibzadeh said.
He emphasized that any content Iran agrees to in the negotiations must safeguard its rights under international law. Iran will not accept being treated as an exception outside of international law, nor will it relinquish its rights.
