The National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NaRRA) will have strong oversight. An independent group, JAMRROC, will track performance and report to the public. This means the focus will be on real results, not just plans or activity. The CEO will be held accountable with clear targets and consequences if those targets aren’t met. JAMRROC follows the EPOC model, which brought transparency and accountability to Jamaica’s economic programme. This is a national effort. The Opposition will also have a voice. Jamaicans will be able to see the results and judge for themselves.(Andrew Holness)
