Visa Launches Intelligent Commerce Connect Solution to Support AI Agent-Driven Global Business Payments

Foresight News reports that Visa has unveiled the Intelligent Commerce Connect solution, designed to provide businesses, AI Agent developers, and merchants with seamless access to AI-driven commerce. Intelligent Commerce Connect enables single integration through the Visa acceptance platform, supporting secure payment initiation, tokenization, spending controls, and identity verification, while handling both Visa and non-Visa card payments. The solution is compatible with major Agent protocols such as Trusted Agent Protocol, Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), allowing merchant product catalogs to be discoverable by AI platforms. It is currently being piloted with partners including Aldar, AWS, Diddo, Highnote, Mesh, Payabli, and Sumvin, and will gradually expand to more partners later this year.
