I hosted H.E Vladlen Semivolos, the outgoing Russian ambassador to Uganda, at State House Entebbe today. I congratulated him on completing his tour of duty and praised his efforts in ensuring the continued warmth and cooperation between our countries and peoples. I wish him success in his future endeavors. Later, H.E Virginie Leroy, the French Ambassador to Uganda called on me to deliver a message and an invitation from H.E Emmanuel Macron for the upcoming France - Africa summit in Nairobi next month, with Uganda participating. I also met H.E Lisa Chesney, the British High Commissioner, to discuss economic opportunities between Uganda and the UK, and various export financing projects. We aim to expand collaboration on business and growth.(Yoweri K Museveni)
