Stablecoin startup Rain announced a partnership with Mastercard to launch credit card and prepaid card products, following its previous card issuance collaboration with Visa. Rain is also exploring the possibility of payment settlements using stablecoins with Mastercard. Rain reached a valuation of $1.95 billion after its funding round in January this year.
