[ZachXBT Criticizes Circle Again: Accuses It of 'Slow Response' in Drift Hack Incident] BlockBeats News, April 2 — On-chain investigator ZachXBT posted an accusation against Circle, claiming it failed to take timely action during the Drift attack incident. He stated that during U.S. trading hours, tens of millions of dollars worth of USDC were transferred from Solana to Ethereum via cross-chain protocols, 'lasting for hours without any intervention.' He also mentioned that the related funds had already been transferred, while Circle 'once again took no action.' Additionally, ZachXBT pointed out that Circle had previously mistakenly frozen over 16 operational hot wallets, which are still being gradually unfrozen. ZachXBT further called out Circle and its CEO Jeremy Allaire, stating that their actions have had a negative impact on the industry.
