Do you remember last year's Believe project in the cryptocurrency industry? It's the Solana token called LAUNCHCOIN, which has dropped from a peak market value of 300 million to the current $70000.
The founder of the project, Ben Pasternak, has been officially arrested in the United States on suspicion of assaulting his ex girlfriend in a hotel, and has been charged with second degree strangulation and third degree assault.
According to the criminal complaint, Pasternak was accused of strangling his ex girlfriend's neck with both hands, causing her to experience neck redness, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. He then repeatedly hit her with the door, causing her arms and both sides of her buttocks to show obvious bruising.
And Pasternak stayed at this hotel, which costs about $2000 per night, mainly to avoid being served with a lawsuit related to his cryptocurrency project Believe.
The reason is that Pasternak illegally diluted the value of cryptocurrency purchased by investors on its token launch platform Believe, and is currently being sued by investors in the United States.
