President Trump signed a Senate bill into law Friday to waive the 60-day notice requirement for the posthumous honorary promotion of the late U.S. Army Captain Cody Khork to the rank of major. The fallen U.S. Army Reservist from Lakeland, Florida was one of six service members killed when an Iranian drone reportedly hit a U.S. Army building in Kuwait during the ongoing U.S.-Israel war against Iran.
