[Iranian Media Reports Iranian Official Proposes Six Conditions for Ceasefire]
BlockBeats News, March 22: According to multiple Iranian media outlets, including Mehr News Agency, an anonymous Iranian official stated in an interview with Lebanon's "Al-Mayadeen" TV that Iran has proposed six conditions for a ceasefire. The report quoted the official as saying that some mediators in the Middle East have suggested a ceasefire to Iran, but Iran insists that six conditions must be met. The six conditions are as follows:
1. Guarantee that war will not occur again;
2. Close U.S. military bases in the Middle East;
3. Compensation to Iran from the aggressor;
4. End all conflicts on all fronts in the region;
5. Establish a new legal framework for the Strait of Hormuz;
6. Prosecute and hand over media personnel engaged in anti-Iran activities.
The official stated that, based on the current military situation, Iran believes a ceasefire is unlikely in the near future and will "continue to punish the aggressors" until they "learn a historical lesson."
The official also mentioned that Iran's current actions, taken within the framework of a "defensive war," are based on a plan formulated months ago, which is being implemented in phases. Additionally, according to reports from Iranian state media, including the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), on March 22, the Iranian Armed Forces announced that Iran's operational strategy has shifted from defense to offense, with corresponding adjustments to battlefield tactics.
