[Ministry of Commerce: Anti-dumping duties on imported halogenated butyl rubber originating from Japan and Canada to be imposed starting March 14, 2026] Announcement No. 15 of 2026 by the Ministry of Commerce has published the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of imported halogenated butyl rubber originating from Japan, Canada, and India. According to the investigation results, imports of halogenated butyl rubber originating from Japan and Canada were found to be dumped, causing substantial damage to the domestic industry, with a causal relationship established between the dumping and the damage. Therefore, starting from March 14, 2026, anti-dumping duties will be imposed on the imported products from the aforementioned countries, with tax rates of 15%, 30.1%, 13.8%, and 13.8%, respectively. Additionally, for related products imported between August 14, 2025, and December 13, 2025, anti-dumping duties will be levied at the final ruling rates, along with import value-added tax calculated at the corresponding rates. For related products imported between December 14, 2025, and March 13, 2026, customs will refund the deposits. The anti-dumping duties will be imposed for a period of five years.
