[Bank of England Plans to Discuss Anthropic's Mythos Model with Major Banks]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on April 11, sources revealed that the Bank of England plans to discuss the impact of Anthropic's newly launched artificial intelligence model with financial institutions. UK regulators, along with their counterparts in the US and other countries, are issuing warnings about the risks posed by this tool. Anthropic's Mythos model will be included on the agenda for the Bank of England's upcoming 'Cross-Market Operational Resilience Group' and the 'CMORG AI Special Task Force' meetings, both scheduled to take place within the next two weeks. The Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department have already held emergency meetings on this matter, and the Bank of Canada convened with banks and financial firms last Friday to discuss the cybersecurity risks posed by Mythos. These meetings reflect growing concerns among regulators: a new type of cyberattack is emerging as one of the greatest risks facing the financial industry. (Jin10)
