The method used is identical to the previous Veil Cash vulnerability, where attackers exploited incorrect verification key configurations to forge zkSNARK proofs, resulting in a cumulative loss of approximately $2.26 million. Among these, a single attack transaction on Base caused a loss of approximately $427,000, while related transactions on Ethereum, amounting to approximately $1.83 million, are suspected to be white-hat rescue operations.
