Robberies targeting crypto folks are still happening—European media revealed that Binance France's CEO was a victim of a home invasion.
According to RTL TV, around 7 a.m. yesterday, three masked men broke into the apartment of Binance France's head, attempting to kidnap him and demand cryptocurrency. Luckily, he wasn’t home at the time, and they ended up stealing two phones before leaving.
Later, the police tracked them down and arrested them at the train station.
From the details, it seems this is a gang specifically targeting crypto individuals. After failing to kidnap the Binance guy in the morning, they went to another place and carried out a home invasion, mistakenly thinking it was also the home of someone in the crypto industry.
