This tells you all you need to know about the need for change in MA. They refuse to do the audit that 72% voters made the law. They refuse to turn over documents related to people within the government charged with committing felonies. They refuse to provide the actual costs associated with housing and feeding illegal migrants during the last four years. And despite multiple documented cases of fraud involving SNAP benefits, they refuse to provide information related to those receiving the benefits. Why? Because MA has rampant fraud taking place and our elected officials know it. They know it because they’re involved in it. At a minimum, they’re complicit for knowing it and allowing it to continue. As someone who grew up on food stamps, I 💯 believe in exposing and ending any fraud associated with receiving those benefits. One, because I respect taxpayers. Two, if we wipe out the fraud - the people who truly need and are eligible for those benefits - would likely see an increase in benefits or the money saved - by uncovering the fraud - could be used in work-training programs to help foster gainful employment - no longer needing those benefits.
