During a conversation with Federal Chancellor of Austria @_CStocker, we discussed the energy situation in Ukraine. Russia strikes energy infrastructure every day to leave Ukrainians without electricity and heat, and it is very important that partners respond to this. That is why we highly appreciate Austria’s decision last week to allocate funds to support our energy sector. Thank you! We also discussed other ways to support our energy system. I also informed the Chancellor about the trilateral meetings of the Ukrainian, American, and Russian delegations that took place in the UAE last week. The parties primarily discussed military issues, but they also talked about security guarantees. Ukraine’s accession to the European Union is one of the key security guarantees not only for us, but also for all of Europe. After all, Europe’s collective strength is possible, in particular, thanks to Ukraine’s security, technological, and economic contributions. That is why we are speaking about a concrete date – 2027 – and we count on partners’ support for our position.
